RSNH is currently seeking enthusiastic cooks to bake cakes and make pastries and sweets for our Community Cafe as part of a self-directed group of volunteers on Mondays from 12pm to 3pm. The Community Cafe sells coffee and snacks to people attending the House and to people from the nearby neighbourhood. In 2024, we aim for the Cafe to become better established and a more welcoming place.

The role will take place every Monday from 12pm to 3pm and consists in preparing cakes, pastries and sweets together with a group of other volunteers. Volunteers will decide on what they prepare each week. Volutneers will clean, set up and pack down equipment. The role will require an ability to work without continuous and close supervision, and also within a team environment. There must be a willingness to engage and interact with a broad range of people in a respectful manner.
