The Hobsons Bay Toy Library is cherished community toy library, dedicated to enriching the lives of children and families by providing access to a wide range of toys, games, and educational resources. Our mission is to support child development, encourage play, and strengthen community bonds by making play accessible to all families, regardless of their socioeconomic status. Located in the heart of our community, we believe in the power of play to inspire, educate, and bring joy.

Do you have a passion for social media and a knack for storytelling? As our Social Media Coordinator, you'll help us connect with our members and supporters through engaging Facebook and Instagram posts, website updates, and newsletters.

Key duties include

  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across various social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram)

  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “Social” way

  • Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.

  • Oversee design (i.e., Facebook Timeline cover, profile pictures, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, and blog).

This role will require approx 1-2 hours a week as well as attending a monthly online committee meeting for approx 2 hours.
