Veterinarian Volunteer
As a volunteer wildlife veterinarian, you'll play a vital role in our wildlife rehabilitation efforts, providing medical care and treatment to a wide variety of species. You'll work alongside our team of experienced veterinarians, volunteer registered veterinary nurses and other professionals to diagnose and treat injuries and illnesses, perform surgical procedures, and develop treatment plans for our patients.
In addition to providing medical care, you'll also play a key role in developing treatment plans for our animal patients. This may involve consulting with other staff members, such as animal care technicians and rehabilitation specialists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address both the medical and behavioural needs of our animal patients. Requirements for this position include a degree in veterinary medicine from a recognised institution, registration with the Veterinary Practice Board of WA and a passion for wildlife rehabilitation.
