Why volunteer?

Are you looking for a positive outlet where you can meet new people and make a difference in the lives of others? Then come along to ReStore (an op shop for Habitat for Humanity Victoria) to help in our warehouse.

How does your volunteering help?

ReStore is Habitat for Humanity Victoria’s social enterprise that accepts and resells new and gently used items donated by businesses and the general public. The funds that ReStore generates support Habitat Victoria's home building program providing low-income families experiencing housing stress with a decent place to live. Habitat Victoria also provides a disaster recovery program helping families in times of natural disaster and assists with local community needs.

What will you be doing?

You will be:

• Testing and Tagging electrical goods
• Assisting in the warehouse as needed
• Assisting the workshop volunteer as required

What you will need to volunteer?

• You will need to have a test and tag liscence
• Ability to do some lifting (this will be supported for heavy items)
• Happy to work alone and with others
