Mentors will provide support and advice to artists as they prepare to hold an exhibition at one of the Tablelands Galleries. This will include help from planning the exhibition through to opening night.
Mentoring may be undertaken face to face or online as agreed between the mentor and the artist. A meeting room is available at the Tableland Regional Gallery in Atherton. Exhibition mentors should be professional artists with experience in exhibiting in public galleries. Mentors will be linked to artists with synergies in their arts practice and medium. Gallery volunteers are supported by the Galleries Officer employed by Tablelands Regional Council and based at the Regional Gallery in Atherton.
