PR Specialist for "Just Walking for a Mate"

Role Overview:

Join us as a Public Relations Specialist for the "Just Walking for a Mate" initiative, a monumental journey led by Kate and Molly.

As not only a PR Specialist, but a Weaver of tales in our Charities mission, you will play a crucial role in promoting mental health awareness and supporting our record-breaking 4,000km walk across Australia. (We're the first females to do it too!)

Responsibilities:

1. Media Relations:

   • Cultivate relationships with media outlets to amplify the message of mental health prevention.
   • Create compelling press releases and media materials for the initiative.

2. Community Engagement:

   • Act as a liaison between "Just Walking for a Mate" and local communities, promoting mental health awareness.
   • Support local events to enhance community engagement.

3. Media Management:

   • Manage media channels, sharing Kate and Molly's journey and Our Charity's mental health advocacy.
   • Monitor social media for engagement opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Proven PR experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Passion for mental health prevention and awareness.

Time Commitment: This is a flexible volunteer position, with an expected commitment of approximately 5-10 hours per week.
