The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of The Salvation Army Camberwell.

The centre at Bowen Street houses a worshiping community as well as community outreach and engagement, including a bi-weekly community lunch program and Doorways emergency relief program.

The maintenance and upkeep of the site supports all of the activities and programs which operates on site, including special occasions such as weddings and funerals.

The garden maintenance includes the basic functions of sweeping, mowing, weeding etc as well as planning and design of garden features and garden beds.

Showing responsibility, creativity, and vision, while working with the manager to develop the site is also involved and provides scope for job satisfaction.
