Training

Free of charge training both in person and electronic, from basic induction through to optional expert knowledge

Time required

Our recommended minimum time commitment is 1 hour per fortnight over a minimum of 6 months. But you can give more if you want, we currently have many isolated older people wanting companionship.

Reimbursement

We reimburse your travel from your home to a visit and back at the current rate (0.85c per km)

Requirements

Driver's Licence (C)
National Police Certificate

Successful applicants will undertake an Aged Care specific National Police Check paid for by Northern Rivers Community Gateway
