The Content Creation Position at Take 3 for the Sea offers a unique opportunity for individuals to immerse themselves in the intersection of environmental advocacy and creative communication. As part of the Program Delivery Team, you will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling narratives and visuals that amplify our mission to reduce plastic pollution and foster ocean conservation. This opportunity is designed to provide aspiring content creators with hands-on experience while contributing to impactful initiatives that drive positive change. The minimum commitment for this role is six months.

The successful applicant will join Take 3 for the Sea's Volunteer Initiative in the Program Delivery Team. Take 3 for the Sea believes in fostering the next generation of environmental leaders by offering these roles, providing hands-on opportunities for passionate individuals to contribute their skills and dedication to the organization's mission of plastic pollution reduction and ocean conservation. Through these opportunities, Take 3 aims to empower and inspire individuals to make a tangible impact on the health of our oceans while gaining valuable experience in the field of environmental education and advocacy.

Duration: Minimum commitment of six months, with a requirement of 8 hours per week. The schedule can be flexible to accommodate the intern's availability.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling and creative content for various communication channels, including email marketing, social media, and promotional materials.
• Write clear, concise, and engaging copy for program materials, newsletters, and other communication channels.
• Develop visually appealing graphics for promotional materials, social media posts, and other marketing collateral.
• Collaborate with the Program Delivery Team to align content creation with overall marketing strategies.
• Assist in the development of educational resources and materials for program participants.
• Ensure consistency in messaging and brand identity across different platforms.
• Maintain a comprehensive record of content creation, references, and relevant data.
• Work closely with team members to share insights, updates, and ideas.
• Collaborate with other volunteers and team members on cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field aligned with Take 3 for the Sea's mission. Alternatively, candidates with relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong written and visual communication skills with a focus on crafting persuasive and effective copy.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
• Demonstrated creativity and ability to contribute innovative ideas to content development.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in all content produced.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Genuine interest in and commitment to marine conservation and environmental education.
