The Role Rewarding Opportunity: Hybrid role: Approximately 3hrs per Week, hours can be flexible

We are seeking a dynamic volunteer to help with designing and implementation a calendar of engaging activities and events for Service Personnel (past and present), First Responders, local mums and the community as a whole, as part of our RSL Active and Mums Connect programs.

RSL Active A health and wellbeing program for past and present service personnel, first responders, and their families. Provides a way to connect with other services members and develop social networks, share ideas, tell stories, enhance support circles, and improve physical and mental health. Designed to support the physical health and wellbeing of veterans and their families.

Mums Connect A casual social gathering where local mums can come together to relax, enjoy good company, have fun, connect with other mums and have adult conversation. A program designed for littles and mums to make new friends and new connections. Designed to support the physical health and wellbeing of women and their families.

About You: No previous experience required just the desire to want to make a difference and help build a community connection. • Passionate about making a difference to the lives of local service personnel and first responders. • Problem Solver and multi tasker • Able to communicate effectively • Excellent organizational and team coordination abilities • A pleasant, outgoing personality

Who We Are: Upwey Belgrave RSL is a traditional, non-gaming, RSL Sub-Branch nestled in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges. We are primarily volunteer run organization, we are a not-for-profit, registered charity.

Our values are based around supporting Service Personnel past and present, First Responders and their families. Our aim is to make a difference for those who give their all for us.
