Volunteer & Human Resources Coordinator

As the Volunteer & Human Resources Coordinator, you will focus on actively coordinating, recruiting, training, supporting and retaining volunteers.

Who We Are: Upwey Belgrave RSL is a traditional, non-gaming, RSL Sub-Branch nestled in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges. We are primarily volunteer run organization, we are a not-for-profit, registered charity.

Our values are based around supporting Service Personnel past and present, First Responders and their families. Our aim is to make a difference for those who give their all for us.

With a 70-seat bistro, huge undercover deck, expansive grounds and secure playground. We are family friendly and community focused. It is a great place to be, community, acceptance, friendship. Onsite we also have The Running Rabbits Military Museum. With over 2500 artefacts, it is the only RSL museum fully accredited by Museums Australia.

The Role: • Hybrid Role – approximately 3 hours per week, flexible hours • Volunteer role • Sourcing and recruiting volunteers through various techniques. • Interviewing volunteers, collating information on availabilities and skills • Liaising with Department Heads with regard to volunteer needs and requirements • Liaising with new and current volunteers on personal development and upskilling opportunities • Reports to Chief Operating Officer
