Short video producer

We have a YouTube channel which, among other things, features a short video about each of the Parks in your Park Lands. These videos were produced between 2017 and 2021 and the older ones could do with updating.

There is also great potential for additional videos, e.g. on specific topics such as children's playgrounds, native vegetation, Park Lands watering; comparisons with other major Parks around the world, documentary-style explanation of Park losses, etc.

Some experience with video production and editing required.

Time required

The time involved is flexible. It can be varied to allow volunteers the option of completing a video quickly, or slowly. As a broad guide, we would hope that a volunteer would be prepared to spend perhaps 4-5 hours per week on the task, and completing a short video (2-3 minutes) in a month.

Requirements

*Please note: * As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Voluntary Workers Personal Accident Insurance). * Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.
