Videographer to cover news for YouTube Channel

Multicultural Community Connect Queensland. Inc.

We are seeking a skilled videographer who has experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) Communities and recording for journalistic content.

Tasks:

Record Community News happening around the city with CALD Communities for our YouTube Channel. Edit the raw footage to make news short stories, social media reels, and special featured videos.

Skills:

Video recording skills. Efficient at meeting deadlines. Good people skills.

Experience Needed:

Experience recording and creating videos for YouTube Channel. Graduate from a tertiary School. Studied journalism and Communication. Must be familiar with Current happenings in the World. Experience in researching for content.

Time Required:

At least 10 hours per month.

About the Organisation:

MCCQ is a non-profit organisation striving to connect multicultural diaspora of Australia together through the media Multicultural Newspaper and YouTube channel giving the culturally and linguistically diverse community a platform to express their voice. We also organise events that raise awareness on certain issues which give the CALD Community a platform to express their opinions and views.

Impact of Volunteering with our organisation:

Volunteers working with our organisation will be able to gain relevant professional work experience. They will be able mentored by professionals to shape their career paths. Volunteers will be able to publish articles in a professional Newspaper.
