As a HammondCare At Home volunteer, you’ll spend time with someone in your local community who may be lonely or socially isolated. We're looking for caring individuals who can sit and have a chat, reminisce and talk about topics of interest with elderly people in their own homes.

Our Client in the Bateau Bay area would enjoy meeting someone to come and chat with each week. He has a passion for Horses, horse racing and his small breed dog, he would like to meet someone with a shared passions to join him to discuss over a cuppa during your time together.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with.
