We are very proud of our volunteers, and grateful for the significant help they provide our staff, and the positive difference they make to our patients’ experiences. Our Volunteers assist our patients, staff and visitors by providing; • Administrative support (data entry, photocopying, filing, archiving) • Patient Enquiries/Concierge (directions, provision of information, walking/assisting visitors to departments) • Patient Visitor (reading, conversation, games) • Ward/Clinic helper (assisting with stocktake, patient enquires, items of comfort, purchase small items at auxiliary, phones, tea/coffee) • Driving hospital provided vehicle (on site and external) • Retail (food and cash handling, customer service, cleaning, stocking shelves)
