The role of the Youth Program Mentor is to support PCYC’s youth program’s participants by acting as a positive role model to help young people make better life choices and to create a positive and supportive relationship between mentees and the community.

General Tasks:

• Program planning and administrative support
• Support coordinator in running sessions
• Mentor youth participants as planned by coordinator

Skills and Experience Required:

• Ability to build rapport and engage with a diverse range of young people
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Ability to problem solve
• Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
• Experience working in culturally diverse environments
