Do you want to volunteer but are short on time? Our Social Connections program supports older people in our community with a regular visitor to their home. Our volunteers can really make a difference in someone's life by simply joining them for a coffee once a week!

This volunteer role offers:

  • Flexibility! Volunteer on a day that suits you, including weekends.
  • An opportunity to make a positive impact in your community and in the life of someone else
  • Opportunities to learn new skills and knowledge If you have an interest in supporting people 65+ to reconnect with their interests please apply!

We offer opportunities in skill and knowledge development, as well as ongoing support and mentoring. Good communications skills and the ability to work independently are a must. Having a driver’s licence/access to own vehicle is highly desired but not essential. We value diversity in lived experience, language, skills and abilities.
