We are seeking applications from enthusiastic individuals for the pivotal role of Foster Carer Relationship Manager. This role will help expand our capability to care for cats by recruiting, supporting, and retaining foster carers. This is a key role within the Cat Care team, instrumental in helping to ensure the well-being of cats in temporary homes.

Key responsibilities:

• Recruitment of foster carers - identify and recruit potential foster carers through events, outreach and marketing efforts
• Screening and onboarding - conduct thorough background checks and interviews to assess the suitability of potential foster carers; provide orientation and training to new foster carers, explaining responsibilities, expectations and procedures
• Matching cats with foster homes - work closely with fellow Furry Friends’ team members to assess the needs and behaviours of cats; match cats with suitable foster homes based on their individual requirements and foster carers’ experience and preferences
• Communication and support - maintain open and regular communication with foster carers to address questions, concerns and provide guidance; offer support and encouragement to foster carers dealing with challenging situations
• Medical care and supplies - coordinate medical care for foster cats, including vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and treatment for illnesses; supply foster carers with necessary cat food, medications, and other supplies

Commitment Required
