We are seeking people 18 years and over who have a good work ethic, are highly motivated and want to give back to their community. This is a great opportunity to support adult students to develop their skills in education and employment by: Improving their reading, writing, computer and maths skills; and boosting their confidence. This will also be a good opportunity for your own personal development and resume.

The program supports the development of knowledge and skills that significantly improves the lives of students by providing pathways to greater social participation, employment, further study and training.

If you're passionate about helping people and have the willingness to share your life experiences and skills, you'll be the perfect volunteer tutor. Our volunteer tutor role is to support an adult student.

As a Volunteer to adult students you will be helping student/s from the ages 15-65 for 1-2 hours per week. The one-to-one sessions can be conducted either face to face, in a community setting, either in a library, café or MTC site or their is the online option. MTC provides training and support throughout the 6 months and guide booklets to help with volunteer sessions.

If you would like to become involved, you will need to commit just 1-2 hours of your time per week over 6 months.
