Key Duties: • Communicating with trainers and program leaders before, during and after their programs on what needs to be done before, during and after a program. • Informing trainers of the documentation and information required of them pre-program. Provide guidance on actions and remind when necessary. • Run the process whereby trainers are certified at a personal and professional level, and temporarily registered in-country. • Use third party services, eg for Police Checks & document signatures, as part of certification • Managing the trainer details and certification database for a program. • Liaising with in-country partners, regulators and suppliers. • Assisting Secretary and Programs Coordinator in overall programs management and its improvement.

Skills & Experience Required • An interest in administering information requests, collection and filing processes; certification processes. • Desktop/laptop PC skills (Mac or Windows environment) around the use of apps • Mature approach to working with volunteers who have the demands of full time jobs while preparing for their overseas volunteer work.

Organisation Background ANZGITA is the Australian and New Zealand Gastroenterology International Training Association. We are a fully volunteer organisation which been operating for over 15 years. Through our volunteer doctors and nurses (around 200 registered) we train Pacific and Asian colleagues in gastroenterology, with an emphasis on endoscopy. The volunteers deliver in-country training programs which are from one to four weeks in duration in seven developing countries. This year about 50 trainers will go on 12 programs in those seven countries. They all need certification and registration. Search ANZGITA on the web for more about us.
