Would you like to join a committed and friendly team, providing integral care to injured and orphaned wildlife?

Wildlife Welfare Organisation is a volunteer based, not for profit organisation providing a free 24/7 community service committed to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of injured and orphaned wildlife on the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula. We provide an important social and humanitarian response to wildlife injuries caused, in the main, by human impact.

We are currently needing wildlife rescue ambulance drivers to transport injured and orphaned wildlife to and from our rescue centre and treatment locations.

Duties include:

  • Collecting the rescue ambulance from the Goolwa rescue centre in the morning and returning it at the end of the day

  • Transporting wildlife throughout the Fleurieu Peninsula, Southern Adelaide and the Adelaide Hills.

  • Handling a variety of birds, mammals and lizards

  • Various cleaning duties

No experience is necessary. We will happily provide you with full training and support required for the role.
