Volunteer Tasks:

• Organise and facilitate various social activities for the residents (such as morning teas, games, clubs, etc)

• Create a welcoming and fun environment where residents can make new friends, engage in activities that interest them and learn new skills.

• Prepare materials and set the environment for the activities, packing up after the activities

• Encourage residents to interact with one another and participate in activities

• Build relationship and connection with residents

Personal Qualities:

• Great organisational and interpersonal skills

• Ability to make personal connections with people from different backgrounds

• Be reliable, flexible, and committed; have patience, kindness and empathy for mature aged people

• A desire to make a positive difference in someone’s life
