Come together with aged care residents in HammondCare Mason to knit, sew and crochet. Be rewarded as you volunteer your time with other people who are interested in this activity. You'll enjoy each other’s company, we will supply the resources and a morning or afternoon tea refreshment.

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme is funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
