Gig Buddies Central Coast stands to tackle social isolation and to increase the social circles of all participants. We’re a fun and growing community – and we’re looking for people from all walks of life & are all determined on someone’s personal interests.

We are looking for a buddy who likes going to the cinema (Marvel films, animation - Disney, Dream Works, comedy). Going for walks / to the beach / exploring new places / lunch dates / watching cricket. Someone into gaming (PlayStation) and Comicon / Cosplay

Once paired up, ‘buddies’ attend outings and events of their choosing.

Gig Buddies requests that volunteers dedicate around 5–10 hours a month minimum. We’re looking for adults located throughout the Central Coast.

As for when paired buddies catch up, this is determined on a case-by-case basis. Everyone’s personal circumstances are taken into consideration – the project aims to ensure both the adult with disability and volunteer mutually benefits.
