Warrigal is an award-winning, for-purpose community-owned organisation that provides a range of retirement living and aged care services in the Illawarra, Southern Highlands, Queanbeyan, and Canberra regions. For over 50 years, we've been dedicated to creating inspiring, supportive, and connected communities for older people, and are proud to be innovative leaders of best practice.

Our Knitting Group is ideal for volunteers who can spare an hour or two during their week to engage in knitting and meaningful conversations with our residents.

As a Knitting Group Volunteer, you will:

• Participate in knitting sessions while enjoying friendly conversations.

• Listen to the residents' life stories and share your own.

• Assist residents with knitting projects if required.

Our knitting sessions are scheduled 2-3 times a week in alignment with our activity calendar, from 2.30pm to 3.30pm. You can choose the days that suit your availability.
