A Cuppa & Chat Volunteer is perfect for those who have the flexibility to spare an hour or two in their week to have a chat over a cuppa.

Volunteers will:

• Have a chat with residents whilst enjoying a cuppa.

• Listen to their life stories.

• Play cards or do a board game.

We encourage volunteers to commit to weekly visits, as this will build strong connections, and residents will look forward to your next visit.

Visits typically take place during business hours from Monday to Friday. However, if you have weekend availability, visits can occur on Saturdays and Sundays as well, lasting anywhere from half an hour to an hour each. Volunteers also have the option to visit multiple residents, which may increase the overall time spent at the home.
