We are seeking caring and friendly volunteers to provide companionship and social interaction for our residents. If you are a caring and gentle person who enjoys helping people and you can spare a few hours each week, this could be the role for you. The activities you would share with the residents could be as simple as sharing a cuppa, playing games, listening to music, watching TV and taking walks together in the garden. Other activities could include beauty care (eg nail painting and hand massage), cooking a BBQ, Bingo calling, gardening, piano playing for sing-alongs. Volunteering with BaptistCare provides you with an opportunity to make new friends, gives you a sense of purpose and has a positive impact on our residents.
