Volunteer Coordinator
Meals on Wheels Fraser CommunityDUTIES: -
• Interview potential volunteers
• Set up volunteer information packages, ensuring volunteers fill out all paperwork required
• Induction and training of volunteers, including the provision of information regarding their duties and responsibilities, confidentiality agreements, police checks, workplace health and safety, and Aged Care Standards
• Meet and greet new volunteers, including: site orientation, entry to the building, details of delivery run, and answering questions.
• Maintain volunteer records, ensuring that they are kept up to date
• Compile rosters and schedules for volunteers, including allowing for volunteers taking holidays or calling in sick
• Enter data into GISMOW
• General office duties, as a back-up, when required
• Serve walk in customers, receive money for meals and issue receipts as required
• Answer phones, deal with inquiries and transfer calls as required
• Sign on and off in the attendance book, record your temperature and QR Code Check in
• Complete all training as required
• Always conduct yourself in accordance with the Code of Conduct, MOWFC Policies and Procedures, and the Aged Care Standards
