Volunteer Client Support Officer
Responsible for delivering emergency relief to people in need, Volunteer Client Support Officers are warm, compassionate and have a genuine desire to make a difference to the people we assist.
Our Hub Space is a welcoming and safe space for all members of the community to seek assistance and our Volunteers are at the heart and soul of what we do from here. Responsible for delivering emergency financial support to people in need,
The Volunteer Client Support Officer Role
You can perform a variety of tasks including:

Providing short term financial assistance and/or making referrals to services within or outside the Society;

Conducting phone and or face to face interviews with the people we assist - providing a positive experience;

Record keeping and input into database

Some administration duties however this experience is not necessary
The people we are seeking will ideally be:
- Willing to work within the ethos of the St Vincent de Paul Society NSW;
- Respectful of others and flexible in their attitude to work and the team;
- Compassionate with a non-judgemental attitude and a kind heart;
- Reliable, punctual and a good time manager, with a can-do attitude;
- Basic computer skills desired but not essential;
- Be a people person – welcoming, encouraging and positive; and
- Have a genuine desire to serve those in need.
- Hours are flexible and minimum of 1-2 shifts each fortnight are desired
No experience needed as in-house coaching and training is provided. We welcome people with experience in various backgrounds to share their experience with their fellow peers.
