Abound Communities is a long established not for profit providing care and accommodation for older Victorians. The volunteers will mainly be based at Leith Park and will be travelling across our four villages to encourage intervillage engagement, with activities such as driving residents to group outings.

The successful individuals will be primarily based at Leith Park and will travel by driving our bus between our four villages, engage with staff, other volunteers and our residents and be part of strong community.

We will need a few volunteers for this role and you must be available on Mondays. Further requirements of role include:

• Holds a Full Australian drivers' licence (car) with a clean record
• Available on Mondays
• great interpersonal communication skills and ability to socialise comfortably with elderly residents.

As we deal with vulnerable residents, we do need volunteers : a) have a valid police check (costs covered by Abound Communities) b) sign a statutory declaration form (as per Federal Government's requirement) c) with Covid 19 vaccination three boosters preferred (not mandatory)
