The ACVVS (Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme) aims to improve the quality of life of aged care home residents by providing friendship and companionship.

Through which, the general feeling of wellbeing will be maintained or increased. There will be a sense of connectedness to the 'outside' world and a reduced feeling of loneliness and isolation, and feeling of depression and anxiety.

Volunteers should be able to speak a second language, as we are supporting older people from a culturally and linguistically diverse background.
