About Worthy Cause: Worthy Cause employs vulnerable people who, due to their disability or disadvantage, have not been able to find long-term employment. Through our structured employment program, they can receive a stable income, financial literacy training, emotional counselling, soft-skills development and on-the-job skills building in an inclusive and safe environment.

More about the role:

• Provide weekly or fortnightly 1-on-1 sessions to a program participant
• You will be paired with one or more of our participants, based on your capacity
• Provide counselling within the context of the employment program, these sessions will not substitute expert care for severe trauma, mental health conditions or other serious issues.

Requirements:

• Ability to work from our kitchen facility in Heidelberg or Preston from time to time (not mandatory but preferred)
• Hold a recognised qualification in counselling, psychology or similar
