Event Details: Date: 28th October Location: Mosman Beach Time: 7:30am to 3pm - there is an opportunity for shorter shifts if you are unable to commit to the entire day.

About Seaside Scavenge: Seaside Scavenge is a grassroots environmental initiative that combines litter clean-ups with a pop-up market. The event aims to tackle plastic pollution while promoting recycling and a circular economy. At Seaside Scavenge, participants collect litter from the beach and nearby areas and exchange it for pre-loved goods, such as clothes, books, and accessories, donated by the local community.

Volunteer Roles: We are seeking dedicated volunteers to help with the set-up, pack-down, and overall running of the event. Here are some of the key roles you can get involved in:

Set-up Crew: Assist in setting up event infrastructure, including marquees, signage, and recycling stations. Information Booth: Engage with participants, provide them with information about the event, and answer their queries. Litter Collection: Join the clean-up crew and help collect litter from the beach and surrounding areas. Market Stall Support: Assist in managing the pop-up market, including organizing and displaying donated items. Waste Sorting: Help sort collected litter into appropriate recycling and waste streams. Photography/Videography: Capture the highlights of the event to promote future Seaside Scavenge initiatives.'
