Located at Epworth Geelong site the role requires:

Ward Support includes: • Checking in with the Ward Clerk or Nurse in Charge for instructions for the shift • Sitting with patients and their families to chat and listen • Offering and providing a cup of tea and or sandwiches for approved patients and families • Offering blankets and newspapers for approved patients and families • Liaising between patients and their families and the nurses for non-medical requests or concerns • If all patient requests are filled, offer small administration tasks

• Assist in making up patient packs
• Brochures restocked
• Assist with stocktake of approved supplies • Reordering sandwiches at agreed times • Utilising the patient experience tracker • Ensuring high levels of confidentiality and discretion at all times
