We are looking for a female volunteer (English or Italian speaking) who loves to provide social support and positive interactions on a regular basis to a lady living in Aged Cared at Epping.

Visits may be spent talking or sharing in a simple leisure activity together. Your regular visits can make a real and positive difference in the life of this resident - reducing social isolation and improving well-being.

Visits are weekly for about an hour at a time, enjoy a coffee and chat with a lady who is lonely and looking for some good company.

Volunteers receive training, orientation, ongoing support, travel reimbursement and invitations to meetings together with other visiting volunteers.

This program is part of the Community Visitors Scheme and the Commonwealth Home Support Program– an Australian Government Initiative
