Our best-practice, school-based program is proven to make positive and sustained change. Mentoring empowers young people to be resilient, connected and hopeful for the future. We match trained personnel with relevant mentors and we enable them to get their foot in the door by having a job.

Our early employment program is currently in over 10 projects across NSW, Victoria, QLD and WA. This translates to over 35 vulnerable people matched with a qualified mentor, and we are growing each year.

- About the Role

This is a volunteer position for 5 to 10 hours per fortnight supporting the Procurement Manager to administer aspects of the TQN bidding process.

You will be involved in the following tasks:

  • Accompanying the site visit team during inspections and surveys.
  • Assisting in collecting data related to site conditions, existing obstacles, and site access.
  • Documenting site observations through photographs and detailed notes.
  • Liaising with potential suppliers and subcontractors to gather competitive quotations.
  • Assisting in the preparation of comprehensive site visit reports.
  • Following safety protocols and ensuring compliance during site visits.
  • Maintaining accurate records of site visit activities and findings.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Strong attention to detail: Able to carefully observe and document site conditions accurately.

  • Excellent organizational skills: Capable of efficiently managing and maintaining site visit records and reports.

  • Good communication abilities: Effective in interacting with team members, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

  • Proactive attitude: Willing to take initiative and assist in various tasks during site visits.

  • Basic technical understanding: Familiarity with construction and facilities management concepts is preferred but not essential.

  • Reliable and punctual: Demonstrates commitment to meeting deadlines and attending scheduled site visits.

  • Ability to work independently: Capable of performing tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Adherence to safety protocols: Committed to following safety guidelines and ensuring a safe working environment during site visits.
