The Community Visitors Scheme coordinates volunteers to visit people who are socially isolated and whose quality of life would be improved by friendship and a regular visit from a volunteer. Volunteer visits for approx 1 hour per week with a resident in aged care home. You will need to have a current influenza, Covid vaccination and booster to visit within Residential Aged Care facilities and a police check. Times and days are flexible.
