The Leisure and Lifestyle support volunteer will collaborate with the Leisure and Lifestyle Team to assist in the delivery of programs and activities which are designed to maintain and enhance the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents based on their individual needs, interests and cultural backgrounds.

Duties include:

• Assist in the set up/pack up and preparation of activities under the direction of the leisure and lifestyle team

• Assist in the delivery of activities to reflect individual cultural, spiritual, religious and personal preferences

• Assist and encourage residents to attend activities of their interest

• Provide appropriate support and guidance to residents during activities to support them to participate to their full potential

• Maintain a high level of confidentiality in relations to the residents at all times
