RJC is a not-for-profit founded by lawyers with lived experiences. RJC’s purpose is to eliminate racism and racial injustice, using the legal system, education and reform. 2. Duties

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role’s duties include, but are not limited to:

• Developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy • Identifying and cultivating new donors, managing existing donor relationships, and writing and submitting grant proposals. • Working closely with other members of the Development team to ensure that the organisation's fundraising efforts are coordinated and effective. • Writing and submitting grant proposals • Tracking and reporting on fundraising progress • Staying up to date on fundraising trends

3. Attributes

The ideal candidate must have: • Attention to detail • Self-directed and able to work without supervision • Highly organised • Excellent time management skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) • Proficient in Google Workspace and Sharepoint • Strong problem-solving skills • Willingness to work as part of a team and to share information and expertise
