Driving or working alongside our truck drivers assisting in tasks involving collection of donations, ie clothing bags, books and other items being donated. Some lifting is involved up to a maximum of 10kg. Steel capped boots are required. 7am to 3pm - there are 3 trucks.

May also be required to assist in the warehouse. Male or female volunteers will be considered.

Training: Ongoing support/instruction on how to accomplish tasks safely. A lot of the work is done in a team providing opportunities to learn. Training in OH&S (manual handling), how to communicate with customers.

Notes: Good physical health is required as there is some lifting involved (up to 10 kg) and ability to climb into truck cabin. Volunteers in this role are also requested to wear steel capped boots for safety reasons.
