Camp Nurse Arthritis NSW

Arthritis NSW
Logo for Arthritis NSW

Our camp provides a special opportunity for children and young people living with juvenile arthritis to meet others with the same condition, have fun, make new friends, and start to gain a sense of control over their lives. As a camp nurse, you will work closely with our team of dedicated leaders and staff to ensure the health and well-being of all campers. You will be responsible for medication administration and other medical matters that may arise, ensuring that both participants and staff feel safe and supported at all times.

In addition to your nursing responsibilities, you will also join the campers and volunteers participants in a range of exciting activities such as abseiling, flying fox, rock climbing, challenge ropes course, and archery. This is a great opportunity to enhance your nursing skills and knowledge while making a meaningful impact in the lives of young people.

We offer a competitive salary and the chance to develop and improve a wide range of skills such as leadership, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork. If you have experience in these areas, your skills and knowledge will be invaluable to our event.

This camp presents a unique opportunity to work with young people who have a rare condition and a vulnerable, disadvantaged community. If you're interested in making a positive impact and gaining experience with a rare condition while working with children, apply now to join the Camp Footloose team.
