We're looking for a mature male volunteer who has time to give back to the community and would enjoy a rewarding role visiting a gentleman in a aged care home in Camberwell for companionship.

Visits are weekly for about an hour at a time, enjoy a coffee and chat with an elderly man who is lonely and looking for some good company.

Volunteers receive training, orientation, ongoing support, travel reimbursement and invitations to meetings together with other visiting volunteers.

This program is part of the Community Visitors Scheme and the Commonwealth Home Support Program– an Australian Government Initiative
