Volunteer Coordinator
Friends of Yellagonga Regional ParkResponsibilities: • Develop and implement a comprehensive volunteer program that meets the needs of the organization. • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain volunteers. • Conduct volunteer orientations and training sessions. • Schedule and assign volunteers to appropriate roles and activities. • Ensure that volunteers have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties. • Evaluate volunteer performance. • Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours and activities. • Provide ongoing support and recognition to volunteers. • Work collaboratively with staff to ensure that volunteer efforts align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Qualifications: • Proven experience in volunteer management and coordination. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Knowledge of environmental issues and sustainable living practices. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
