The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Samarinda Ashburton Aged Services Inc (SAAS).

Samarinda is seeking volunteers to join our busy Community Centre team to bake yummy goods in our Community Centre kitchen.

Duties of this role will include food preparation, baking goods for morning or afternoon teas for Community Centre attendees, food service, safe use of kitchen utensils and appliances, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, working within a team setting

Your vital assistance makes a difference to the lives of elderly residents across Camberwell, Glen Iris, Ashburton & Ashwood who attend the Samarinda Community Centre for activities.

Training is provided. Samarinda is authorised to conduct Police Checks free of charge for volunteers. All volunteers are require to provide evidence of Covid Vaccination status.

Community Centre services run from 9:30am - 4:00pm weekdays. However, days and times are totally flexible to fit in with volunteer availability.
