The Macedon Public Cemetery, a Class B Cemetery, is an operational cemetery and a place of historic importance located in Macedon, Victoria.

Do you have the skills and commitment to join a professional team of volunteer trust members to provide strategic direction, project oversight, operational input and good governance for the Macedon Cemetery Trust?

We are looking for additional members to join the Trust. Previous experience on community boards and in the fields of finance, IT, environmental or infrastructure engineering, community engagement or horticulture/landscaping would be advantageous, but anyone with any relevant skills is encouraged to apply.

A Class B cemetery trust member is appointed for five years under s.6 of the Cemeteries and Crematoria Act by the Governor in Council on the recommendation of the Minister of Health. Trust Member positions are voluntary with no remuneration provided.
