Charlie Teo Foundation is seeking out around 30 fantastic people to volunteer at our signature fundraising event of the year, the Rebel Ball. To be held at W Hotel, Darling Harbour, Sydney. We are looking for people who are keen motivators and organised. Some experience in fundraising events, sales or customer service is required.

Your Volunteer role

In a team of 2 people, together you’ll be allocated a few tables to work throughout the night. Your role will be to meet and greet guests, sell raffle tickets, take donation pledges, help guests to register for the silent auction and spotting for the live auction. You will be helping to raise as much funding as possible for brain cancer research on the night!

As you’ll be in teams of two, we encourage you to get a friend, your partner or your colleagues involved! If you are keen to volunteer as a pair or group, please make note of this in your application.

We can partner up any single applicants, so everyone will be in a team.

Your time commitment

Your volunteer shift at the event at the W Hotel, Sydney will be 5.00pm–11.00pm on Sat 4 May (with appropriate breaks including light dinner and soft drinks). You will receive further event details prior and also on arrival. Also, a WHS briefing on arrival. Once the formalities are over, you’ll be able to dance the night away at the end of the evening.
