Green Thumb Wanted – Help Our Garden Grow with Love

Do you love the smell of fresh soil, the joy of planting flowers, and the quiet magic of a morning garden? We’re on the lookout for a kind-hearted gardening volunteer to sprinkle a little love and colour around our Dementia Care Cottages. Think potting, planting, and light garden pottering – nothing too heavy, just enough to keep our little garden looking like the gentle haven our residents cherish.

If you’ve got a couple of hours to spare on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday morning (9am is perfect before the sun gets too bossy), we’d be thrilled to have you join us. No need to be an expert– just bring your smile, a sunhat, and a love for nature. In return, you’ll get fresh air, a few laughs, and the warm feeling that comes from doing something truly special.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
