The JALO’s (Just a little older) group runs on Tuesday mornings fortnightly, from 11.30am to 1.30pm.

Experience working with the Elderly is desired but not essential, if you would like to run sessions or have experience in an area that might compliment speaking with or sharing your expert opinion with our JALO’s group please reach out to discuss further. Mostly we are looking for someone that is welcoming and friendly, a team player with strong communication skills and have a keen interest in connecting and supporting the older members of the Irish Australian community.

Duties will include:

• To be the contact for the group
• Responsible for group sign in and new member registration
• Build genuine relationships with the group members
• Coordinate group events either in the IASAQ office or on location
• Informing members of the services available to them at IASAQ
• Host to meet at activities or run activities, info sessions around health/wellbeing light exercise activities.
• General tidy up
• Drive our members to the event locations

Background Checks: Must have a valid blue card and a valid driver’s license.

First aid Certificate (desirable)
