As you may or may not know, Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a rapidly progressive neurological disease whereby a person's neurones undergo degeneration and die, robbing them of their ability to move, speak, eat and eventually breathe. There is no known cause, treatment or cure and the survival rate is zero.

MNDAWA is the specialist care and support organisation for people living with MND providing an MND Advisory Service, education and information sessions, equipment and other funding options.
