Literary discussion board moderator
South Coast Writers Centre- For the position of Discussion Board Moderator we seek someone who can manage communications on a Facebook group
- The Discussion Board Moderator should able to prepare and post weekly discussion prompts as well as monitoring and moderating ongoing discussions
- A strong background in literature and writing craft is required.
- This is a voluntary position with a minimum twelve month commitment.
The Coledale Community Hall is owned by Wollongong City Council and managed by the South Coast Writers Centre. The SCWC is a not-for-profit with a public fund and its operations are overseen by a voluntary committee of management. The South Coast Writers Centre supports the creation and enjoyment of Australian literature through the provision of creative and professional development, literary events and audience growth across the New South Wales South Coast. With offices based in Wollongong, the Centre aims to promote regional writers and writing in Australia while fostering creative and professional development for South Coast writers. The development of existing and new audiences for writers and writing is strongly supported, and the distinct literary cultures of the South Coast are valued and sustained. The Centre always strives for the inclusion of South Coast writers in Australian literary culture and ultimately endeavours to maintain social inclusion, access, equity and the participation of members in all aspects of the Centre.
